I'm about to sign (or not) a contract. I already notified the other party about my concerns. Will the other party change the clause related to the first rights in such a way that the rights revert to me within the time frame that seems reasonable to me? Ideally this clause will have an economic activity cap, as well as a temporal cap, like about 5 years.

Thank you! I want to be prepared for the meeting, in case I need to negotiate again.

My kids are 8, 5 and 2!

I feel that things will go smoothly. I see that you may have to put your foot down one more time. Like they might softly try to see if you really mean business and when you confirm for them that you do, they will give in.
I see you signing the contract and I see a big smile on your face!
Congratulations!

Thanks! I hope you are right! We've been in negotiations for weeks now, and things are not looking good. I hope that signing and smiling you see is for THIS contract, I so want it to work out.

My kids are 8, 5 and 2!
