I am very unhappy at my job for a number of reasons, and I am approaching a crossroads in school. I want to know if the direction I'm planning to move in (figuratively and literally) is the right path for me, and any additional info or guidance you have relating to my occupation/career?

I definitely think you are right to be questioning your choices right now. What I feel is actually a move from the school you are in to another one. I'm not sensing a different course of study, but a different school. I think your interest has waned more from the actual lack of things in that school. You would be wise to consider a different place. Also I can tell that your mind/energy has been directed elsewhere b/c of a person at that school. You need to refocus. Get your head back on straight, iykwim.
I do feel that you are on the right path career wise though. It feels very good to me.
