Hi Jamie,

Should I take the new job I've been offered, or stick with the situation I have now? I want to do what's best for my family and happiness, but my long term career is an important consideration too.

Thanks!
Nicole

Ack! You are definitely on the fence about this. I can feel that these are both full of pros and cons. And neither list is longer then the other.

The biggest thing I'm hearing is that if you don't accept this job offer, there will be regret. I think you could happily choose to stay where you are at and you could continue to find a lot of joy in that situation. But I do think there will be a nagging regret, that at one point may even really bother you. It may be years down the road, but it will be there. I'm not big into regret and I know you are not either. So I suggest you take the job. I think it's an really great opportunity. I may even say it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for you personally.
Good luck. Let me know what you've decided!
