I somehow missed that we have a new Roll Call thread.
* EDD: Thanksgiving!
* Name: Karen
* Age: 41 - I'll be 42 at birth unless baby comes early.
* Location: Portland, OR
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: We had a missed miscarriage in Oct. (u/s showed baby had died ~3 weeks previous). Started trying again at the first of the the year, and conceived in early March.
* What number child is this for you: Number 2
* Family: music teacher DH, James, and 3.5 yo terror boy Chase
* Baby's Sex: GIRL!!! And we are amazingly excited about it
* Names you like: I have a name picked out, but DH isn't fully on board yet.
* Birth Plans/Preferences: We are having a home water birth with a pair of fabulous CPMs. I had pre-e with my son, and I am doing what I can to prevent a recurrence. If a pre-labor transfer becomes necessary, I'll return to the hospital CNM practice with which I had my son. that won't be necessary, though!

EDD Nov 26 2010
kc, 27, austin tx
How long it took to you to get your BFP: 2-3 cycles seriously, ~9months less seriously before that, clearly the lack of intention didn't work out
What number child is this for you: first
Husband and two big doggie babies
Baby Boy to come
* Birth Plans/Preferences: Home birth with midwife planned.
I am also vegetarian and generally on the more "natural" side of things, for whatever that means

It's awful late, but I'm going to add myself to the thread!!

* EDD: 11/28
* Name: Monica
* Age: 33
* Location: Denver, CO
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: Well, since 3/09 I've had 5BFPs and 4 losses. It took a long time for us to get a pregnancy that lasted more than 8 weeks.
* What number child is this for you: Number 3
* Family: husband Tim, 2 children, Lilly and Carter.
* Baby's Sex: Girl. We are over the moon, really, though I'm getting sniffly about my boy being my only boy.
* Names you like: Elsa Clare. It's a done deal, too. Elsa is my husband's Nana's name and Clare is after my stepfather (Clarence) who passed away a few years ago.
* Birth Plans/Preferences: We will have a hospital birth and I will try to go natural. There's a good chance I'll be induced after 39 weeks as well, which I am fine with. After all of our losses, I'm not hung up on how this kid gets here, just THAT she gets here.

Monica, mom to Lilly (7) and Carter (4) and rainbow baby Elsa (11/27/10).

* EDD: November 20
* Name: Kaela
* Age: 22
* Location: Arizona (hate it)
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: About 3 months, but we weren't trying very hard, other than just not using condoms lol.
* What number child is this for you: First!!!
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): My husband John, and we live within walking distance of my mom and dad.
* Baby's Sex (hopes or guesses): It's a boy. I wanted a girl SO BAD, but he wanted a boy and he won
* Names you like (& are willing to share): Wolfgang Catch B.
* Birth Plans/Preferences: Planning an unassisted waterbirth at home, with just me and John
* Anything else you'd like to share: I risked out of my birth center plan for being overweight, and now I can't even imagine it any other way. If I believed in things being "meant to be" this would be!!!

Thought I had already filled this out, but I gues i was wrong. Must be pregnant brain.

EDD: November 4th, but I think Baby will be born end of October
Name: Madis
Age: 29
Location: Colorado
How long it took to you to get your BFP: Surprise baby! I have pcos and was still nursing my 2-year-old DD, so the bfp took us by surprise.
What number child is this for you: 3!
Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Wonderful DH, 2 amazing DD's, and one black kitty that stays with grandpa.
Baby's Sex (hopes or guesses): Instincts told me it was a boy... and it's a boy! Found out on accident after the u/s tech goofed.
Names you like (& are willing to share): Ethan, Henry, and whatever other names we come up with. Really like Alexander as a middle name though.
Birth Plans/Preferences:
Was shooting for a HB, but decided to go to the freestanding birth center an hour away. They changed some of their policies, so now I'm birthing at the hospital with an awesome hands-off CNM that has agreed to my birth plans AND has a history of working with like-minded moms. I feel good about it.Anything else you'd like to share: I am super nervous about having 3 kids!

You might have filled it out in the old roll call thread but the mama who started it disappeared. In order for us to keep it updated, I needed to start a new thread. I copied all of the info in the first post but not all of the intros. You were listed under "Early November" but we didn't know you were having a boy! I switched you to November 4th and made note of the gender.

I'm a little late joining, but I suppose it's better late than never!
* EDD: I'll go with early Nov (date was changed from 10/30 to 11/9 in my third trimester)
* Name: Heather (my gosh, I've never seen so many Heathers in one place!)
* Age: 24 in a few days... which I've just now realized. Funny how impending childbirth can make you overlook things like your own birthday!)
* Location: Atlanta, GA
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: 6 months, 2 m/c, although we stopped trying after m/c#2 and a big move... so baby was a welcomed (and wanted) surprise
* What number child is this for you: 2
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH and our fantabulous 4-year-old daughter
* Baby's Sex (hopes or guesses): Another girl
* Names you like (& are willing to share): Josephine (middle name still undecided)
* Birth Plans/Preferences: Hospital waterbirth with my favorite midwife
