Is anyone else's baby still moving around like crazy?  I thought they were supposed to slow down this late in the game.  Last night, dh and I were watching my belly and it was honestly like babe was having a dance party in there.  Someone please reassure me that this is normal and not because of the 1/2 cup of coffee I drink in the morning, and the copious amounts of Halloween candy I had.

I am, but she seems to be saving most of her energy for bedtime.  Sometimes during the day I almost get a little worried, and then at night I want to scream!

Yes! It's always in the evenings when I feel the most movement.  Sometimes, it makes me feel a little queasy, almost like motion sickness...lol

im 40 weeks 3 days and my baby is still super active. he/she seems to really respond to noise in the house now.. even startles at loud sounds (like my 2yo screaming) i keep thinking i will know when its time because he/she gets quiet for a bit then tons more movement. it IS comforting in some ways though to constantly feel baby moving. i dont mind it.

Um, I'd blame the Halloween candy smile.gif Which doesn't mean it's not normal.

My baby had a major dance party the night before she was born. I'd eaten a large quantity of cookies just before (Instinctively carb-loading for labor, we'll say. Which is probably actually true, seeing as I hadn't had all that much desire for sweet stuff before that, and similar has happened immediately before two labors now).

DS born 6/03, DD1 born 9/06, DD2 born 10/10, DD3 born 4/14.

My guys are still crazy active. I had a biophysical profile and ultrasound this morning and the tech commented on it too. They barely stayed still for her to get all the measurements she needed. Shouldn't they been squished up in there?  LOL

My little Turkey is still super active at 38 weeks. I guess he's slowed down a *little* compared to a couple of weeks ago, but he still puts on a good show. orngbiggrin.gif

YES!  This baby is a total gymnast, and has been the whole time!  She's super active at night as well, but I feel her all day.  I've got videos of her little knees just trying to bust out of my belly.  It's getting really uncomfortable at this point, as I'm almost 39 weeks and she's huge and there's not enough room for her to be beasting around in there like that!  She's a crazy one, just like her big brother smile.gif
