I'd like to get a gift for my midwife. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not super crafty so I'd prefer to buy. I was thinking something practical that she'd use a lot, but I"m open to suggestions!
These are super cute... http://www.etsy.com/listing/60619281/midwifes-tool-pouch
I need to figure out something for mine, too! I was just thinking about it a little bit ago... I'm actually considering contacting her daughter and asking for ideas.
Last time, we did a photo shoot (a surprise at one of our appointments) with her and the three boys, then framed a picture from it and gave it to her. I know she really liked that. I'm not sure if we'll do something like that again or what. I do think any midwife would like something personal like that, though!
I've also thought of restaurant gift certificates or something... Though I know my MW is vegetarian and so I'm not 100% sure what the best options for that are. (Not vegan, though, which makes it easier!)
This was our third birth with her (and our last!) and she is a wonderful friend, so I really want to do something special!
