Diarrhea, bloody show, contractions every 5-15 minutes..... Could I be in early labor????

as a side note-- I did have a S&S this morning at my MW appointment, so I am not getting my hopes up that this is early labor just yet... Could just be from what my MW did... although I was 3-4 cm and baby at -1 station when she checked me. :)

Oh, and Liam was born on a rainy Tuesday.. so that's a good sign!

That is so funny, I had a S&S yesterday with the same stats as you, and today I lost my mucus plug, have had bloody show, loose stools and a back ache.  It sounds promising for you since you are having contractions!  I can't wait to hear you are holding your little one!

My labor started with bloody show, diarrhea and contractions every 10 minutes...took a while to get going but I had a baby 18 hours later.  This could totally be it for you!

still coming... not "progressing" much but they do hurt and they've been going on for about 4 hours now..... I am thinking of calling my MW soon just to give her a heads up that I could be in early labor. ;) She said I would probably have a long early labor, so I expected to... Hoping they keep coming!!!!!!

any update catie???

i had another big gush of clear fluid a few minutes ago.. i was just standing up and it went through my undies, pants and skirt.. not sure if its my waters or not at this point, but i think there is a good chance. this has never happened in my past 3 pregnancies.. so i dont have anything to compare it to. still having pretty regular, but still not what i would call painful, contractions.. probably every 4 minutes? im also feeling very wide awake.. im usually So tired at this time of night... my house is pretty tidy and there is a fire on and its clear and cold. it wouldn't be a bad night for a baby at all!

i just called my midwife to give her a heads up and she offered to come check to see if she can determine if its amniotic fluid, but i told her i would call her once my kiddos are in bed. its just 7:30 here.

Well, contractions stopped after I went to bed last night. On the plus side, I got a pretty good night's sleep. I am still losing chunks of mucous plug with blood in it. I am trying to stay positive.. at least all the work my body did yesterday is less I will have to do during "real" labor, right?

I go in to see my MW at 10. She is going to check me again, probably do another stretch/sweep.. evaluate my cervix and possibly give me the "birth drink" cocktail to take this afternoon. Crossing my fingers that I've made some progress and that we have a baby today!!!
