This is the first time that I have not started my period on week 6 after having my son.. We are going on week 8.

I wanted to know the odds of getting Pregnant so soon? My husband asked if I could get preggo even if I don't have a period and I am think so, right?nut.gif

I know lots of people who were pg within 2-3 months of giving birth even when EBF. My oldest kids are 13 months apart. I got my period a couple of weeks ago. If dh hadn't gotten fixed, I'd probably be pg right now since we dtd almost every night.

We dtd with the pull out method, but I have never (not had my period) while nursing.. Very different, usually we could let it fly when I was about to start my period the charting method but I can't do that while nursing right? Anyone chart while nursing?

Umm, yeah, This. Not 11 months, but not since I found out about the previa, so...since August?  We were on our way to getting back to it, then DH's dad had a massive stroke and died bawling.gif   and DH went out of town for a week. Now Paige has RSV, DH goes back to his mom's this weekend...the stress and no sleep is making it hard to both get in the mood and find the time.

Yes, it's possible to get pg without having your period first. It's also possible for your cycles to be delayed further from one pregnancy/postpartum to the next. You might check out the Fertility forum to see if there's advice on charting before PPAF shows up. I haven't ever done it very seriously (mostly I've just watched for obvious signs like EWCM), so I don't have great advice there. Of course, if you suspect pregnancy, a dollar store test is a pretty cheap way to find out for sure. thumb.gif
