I am here...by my definition! Today I'm 13 weeks, 4 days.

Of course, I know I ovulated late, by if my ob refuses to push back my dd, then I'm going to roll with it....especially when it gets me out of the first tri faster!

Running, blogging, gardening, military mama... to Louisa Mae 9/2/09 and June Elizabeth 12/7/10.

13 weeks and 5 days! I was wondering the "official" start of second trimester! I have an appointment with my midwife on Wednesday, so I will really let out a big sigh of relief then.

I'm sad that the US isn't until 20 weeks- it just seems so darn for away!!

I am thrilled to be here!

This trimester is going to bring a lot of fun: we're going to the beach for a week; our 7 year marriage anniversary; and spending a LOT of time at the pool! I hope to make a trip to visit some family as well.

I'm 12w5d today and I'm starting to feel like the first trimester grossness is over. Today I wrote a meal plan and a grocery list for the first time since I've been pregnant. Otherwise I was just running to the store, grabbing a few things that I could throw together to make meals, and getting out before I got too queasy. It's so nice to look forward to having a full meal again instead of dreading cooking because of food aversions and nausea.

Can I count being 12 w as the end of the first tri? Because I will be there on Tuesday. I would guess that would be considered cheating. Maybe I will count it as when we get the NT scan on the 21st, so one day shy of 13 weeks?

13w2d today!! I guess that is TECHNICALLY a few days short but I'm considering it close enough. We had a heartbeat and otherwise great first appointment Tuesday. Now I'm just waiting for movement. I didn't feel anything until 13 or 14 weeks with my last baby so it should be any day now. Just thought of something though...would an anterior placenta disrupt feeling movement this early? I know a lot of mamas who have that claim they don't feel baby move too much? Hmm...

With my anterior placenta, I did not feel anything until about week 24. It really sucked having people 4 weeks behind me in my due date club talking about feeling their baby move and I had not felt anything yet.

I am really hoping this placenta is high and away from my scar. A bonus would be posterior.
