According to this website, at week 26 I am 2/3 through the pregnancy. That means third trimester, right? I choose to believe it does anyway, LOL! So pop in here when you reach your 26th week mark. Happy Home Stretch, Mamas!

I like you and all, but your post is like someone saying "Good morning!" to you after you've been up all night with insomnia and crying/puking/teething children while fighting with your DH and having car troubles and you have to hold back the urge to snap back, "what's so good about it?!?"

Ahh, the third trimester...that's when I start to feel really miserable. I have a week go go but I'm already feeling it. Usually I start to get antsy for the baby to be born but this time I'm just hoping s/he stays put until s/he's ready, I don't want any more emergencies. But that won't stop my from complaining at every possible moment. My poor husband!

I'm pretty freaking miserable. I woke myself up at 3 AM aspirating my own heartburn puke. I have a feeling it's only going to get worse. But the good news is, it's the beginning of the end.

I hope you're feeling better soon.

I like the 3rd tri, I like having a big belly and a rolling poking baby. I hope I like it this time, everything this time has been more difficult. I am 24 weeks today so I'll come back and join you in a couple more weeks.

I am waiting till I am 28 weeks to call it third trimester...just so I can keep that "glorious second trimester" feeling going a little bit longer! So I've got another month to go.

Congrats though; it is exciting!

I've also heard it starts at 28 weeks. 0-13 is the first, 14-27 is the second, and 28-42 is the third. If you just google '3rd Trimester' most of the results also say it starts at 28 weeks.
Just going by how women's bodies ACTUALLY work it makes sense. The first 2 weeks you're not actually pregnant and although we're "due" at 40 weeks 5% of babies still aren't born by 42 weeks.

I seriously did not mean to start a debate on when the third trimester starts. I was just going by what one website said. Honestly. I'm sick and miserable and it makes me feel better to think the third trimester is beginning. I honestly won't be offended if someone wants to start a third trimester/28 weeks thread. Honest. And this is my 8th/9th pregnancy. I get how women's bodies and pregnancy works.

I will be joining this club the nanosecond I hit 26 weeks! I looooooove the idea of being in the third trimester! It seems so...impressive! Plus it's like I'll have more of an excuse to be big and waddling. Right now I feel like I'm still supposed to be spry and energetic, and I am SO not!

I will be happy to hit 26 weeks too!! I am 24 tomorrow but figure since my babes are all born between 36.5 and 38 weeks I am close enough to 2/3 of the way there!! So I will be celebrating at 25 weeks But I was just thinking hitting 24 weeks is really exciting because this is when babes will often survive when born super early right?? So that in itself is another reason to celebrate!

I'm getting there! Saturday for me.

I joked with my midwife, "I've felt so good for the last few months; time for the third-trimester complaining to begin!"

I didn't mean to debate or anything, I just don't want to celebrate until I feel its really official. Its not like it really matters when exactly it starts.

25 weeks tomorrow...I am going with *wholewheatchick* and waiting until week 28 so that this 2nd Trimester glory lasts a little longer.

Entering T3 is not as significant to me as hitting 30 weeks! 30 weeks out of 40! Convert that to a percentage and you're 75% loaded Woot!

I am a former teacher so % make more sense to me.

Also the T3 start date is so soon, I still have tons of prep to do. We have more due to his cleft lip, lots of interviews to line up, one of which includes a NICU tour. It's a 'just-in-case' measure so that I'm not shocked if he needs to go there.

I'm about 25 weeks. So not quite there yet but since the babe will probably arrive closer to the 38-39 week mark I'll celebrate T3 anyway. Woohoo!

It still kind of feel surreal that I am pregnant sometimes and thinking I am in the 3rd trimester kinda freaks me out (only 25 weeks so far - but getting close)

I am totally happy to be in the 2nd trimeter a little longer I still need time to adjust. It's a little freaky that in about 3 months baby will be here

I'm 26 weeks today (I think-I'm having a hard time keeping track) and was so surprised when the mothering newsletter at 25 weeks said something about the 3rd trimester coming up soon. So I googled 3rd tri week and the first 4 links said, 26 weeks, 27 weeks, 28 weeks and 29 weeks. : so I figured there is no right answer. Anyway I'm a 42 weeker, so even if I am in the 3rd tri I still have a long time to go.

annettemarie, Since you are expecting twins, statistically you are 2/3 of the way there! Congrats. I'm officially due right around the same time, but expect to go late. Regardless, it cheers me to know that we will be holding our babies before we know it. Lets hope the third trimester flies by easily for us all!

So its not yet midnight but its close enough.

Happy 28 weeks to me!! Now (after midnight) I'm 3rd trimester by anyone's standards. Boy am I feelin' it! I'm waiting for the little man to go to sleep so I can. There's no use laying in bed for an hour if he's going to keep me awake. I definitely have a night owl on my hands.

I'm 28 weeks today and feelin' it. I'm too tired (emotionally mostly today) to even get into detailed complaining. Not having a good weekend.
But glad to be reaching this milestone. Happy 3rd tri to me.
