I don't post here much, but thought this issue might have something to do with where I'm at in the pregnancy timeline. I'm 29 weeks along and for the past few days I've been so irrationally irritable and snappy! I feel like I have the worst PMS ever. I'm so moody! The frustrating part is that I KNOW that it's irrational, but I can't stop feeling pissed off at the smallest things. EVERYONE is pissing me off. I just want to lock myself in a room and be alone until these feelings stop.

Is anyone else experiencing this? This is my third pregnancy and I don't remember feeling like this with either of my other two. Please tell me this won't last for the rest of the pregnancy!

I am pretty rage-y, luckily not at DH but at others, traffic, my mother, co-workers, etc. And last night I was all weepy. I'm 29w5d. Maybe it is the time of pregnancy, it would be nice to know this feeling of being utterly overwhelmed by my emotions will pass. I was pretty angry last pregnancy, too, but it was focused on a couple of people who were just...annoying. Again, not DH, luckily!

Oh my goodness yes. I broke into an uncontrollable fit of tears yesterday and poor DH had no idea what was wrong (neither did I, so it worked out). I am a mess. Glad to know I'm not alone, but the prospect of feeling this wacky for the next ten weeks is not very exciting.

Whew! I'm glad to hear I'm not alone at least. I remember one time during my last pregnancy when I went from raging to crying to laughing all in about a 4 minute span. DH thought I was losing my mind. But that was much earlier in the pregnancy - maybe around 8 weeks? Feeling this way so late in the pregnancy and on top of being so physically uncomfortable is making my outlook for the next 11 weeks seem pretty bleak. Hopefully this will be a short phase for us all.

im 32 weeks and feeling the same for the past few weeks. I've noticed though that Im waking up much more:leg cramps, RLS, peeing my pants all the time, heart burn, baby kicking like crazy and waking me etc etc. Last night I swear I woke up every hour.... guess body is getting me ready for a newborn huh
anyway when sleep is really bad like that Im a mess... then i get good sleep and Im like o yey im back! Not that you can really do anything about getting good sleep.. but

dandilion root tea has really helped me over the past few years with sleep problems, I mean not the sleep problems but the horomones the next day. Im going to try taking some magnesium tonight and seeing if that helps me sleep better...

Im doing ok not taking things out on dh or dd but man our poor dogs

FOr me it 100% sleep linked I can tell how I am going to feel by how I slept the night before and the night before that, often takes me 2 days to hit the wall!

Oh gosh yes, I'm right there with you. I feel like this has been my most emotional pregnancy so far. I'm usually pretty darn stable, but recently I am super grumpy and crying so easily. I feel clingy, vulnerable, irritable. I've yelled at the kids way more than I'd like to admit. I've had to walk away from people or else I'd explode at them, when I'm usually great at just biting my tongue. I really feel like I'm not myself. It does feel just like PMS, except PMS lasts like a day. And this is so constant, with a few periods of feeling ok tossed in sporadically here and there.

It's hard to handle, and I'm sure I'm hard to handle too. I just have no patience lately, and I'm so emotionally vulnerable feeling. I don't enjoy it.

Thankfully it won't last forever. Hopefully my family will forgive me easily when it's all overwith!!

Ah, Kimmom, I think you're right about that. I have bad insomnia and tiredness really makes me grumpy.
