We had a sonogram today to check on the baby's growth since DD was growth-restricted due to my previously un-diagnosed blood clotting condition. He looks great - he was practicing breathing - and he's already 5 lbs! Which is bigger than DD was at birth - she was only 4 lb 7 oz at 35 weeks. So I don't have to see the high risk OB anymore, just have my regular check-ups with the midwives!!

I have to give myself injections twice a day but it all seems worth it at times like these I feel so relieved...

Mama to Ellie (11/11/05) and Owen, born 12/12/10 - a successful VBAC!

Yay! Congratulations! My guy is already estimated to weigh more than twice what my growth-restricted DD weighed at birth. Hopefully those unisex preemie outfits won't be getting any more use.

That's wonderful that he's growing so well. You're doing an awesome job taking care of that little man.
