Dh and I are really trying to clean up our finances so we can eventually do things like... I don't know... buy a house that fits all of us?
As part of that, I'm refocusing on our grocery habits.

Yesterday, I threw a chicken in the crock pot, knowing I could get at least 2 dinners, a lunch, and some soup out of that bird. I was exhausted after dinner, and asked dh to just cover everything and throw it in the fridge for me to deal with in the morning, then I headed to bed.
After waking up at 3am, I finally went down to make some coffee at 5, and found the chicken still sitting in the crock pot.

So I cried.

For a half hour.

I have every right to be upset and angry, but really? A half hour of tears?!?!?

I hate hormones!

It's just the straw... If you have not cried about the pressure of finances and everything else it will come out over the crockpot! Or your stubbed toe, or something. It has come out and is healthy, now it is out of your system for a little while. If it isn't, just go to the bathroom and cry some more. Crying is a bit tiring, but it releases pressure. So don't beat yourself up. You re not all hormonal, just under pressure and releasing it naturally (and healthily - ie - not on the dog or DH!)

Big hugs to you! Sending you happy money vibes!
