I was just thiking today that I can't believe we haven't had a 'December' baby born yet!  Then I got to thinking how I don't think I've seen Annette post in a while.  Hope you're doing ok, girl!

You all are sweet! I just haven't been very social lately. Both babies are as reported, and are doing great. I, on the other hand, am absolutely miserable. My BP shot up to 180/130 and I'm on meds for that. The meds make make me really loopy and out of it. My iron is low, so I am also on meds for that. My potassium was low-- meds. My B12 was low and they gave me a shot in the butt. I have to go the hospital at least twice a week for NSTs, and that often ends up taking hours because something goes wrong, like my BP being up or my latest labs showing something is wrong. I go in at least once a week now for appointments plus have an ultrasound once a week to check and make sure there's still enough fluid. Around the clock, I can only sleep for about 1/2 hour every couple hours, which my kids think is hilarious. Also, the rhoids are back and it's like a full time job trying to get rid of them before the babies come.

I'd love to last until 11/29, but I'd be happy to have the babies anytime after the 22nd. I'm 36 weeks and 3 days now, and going to 38 weeks would be great. My body has never let go of babies easily, and my midwife has actually said she doesn't think I'll go early on my own. She checked me when she did the swab the other day and I was barely a cm dilated.

I know that all sounds super grumpy. Truth is, I AM super grumpy. I'm kind of miserable right now.I will be so absolutely thrilled when these babies are in my arms. It's been so hard, both physically, and emotionally, adjusting to a hospital birth after having a homebirth last time. I'm really looking forward to these sweet little babies being born.

Also? I am measuring 48 weeks. This makes me feel kind of stabby.

Youre my hero!  I am at 25 weeks now, cant imagine being 36 weeks, though I dont have much longer before I feel like you do, I am sure. I am actually getting used to the heavy belly now. My babes weigh 2 pounds each already!!!!!!!!!! So at 36 weeks, I dont know what they will be. This is truely one of the hardest things I have ever gone through in my life, being preggo with twins. I feel you mama.

Me and my wonderful husband serve God. Blessed with twin girls 2/11/11. <3

Thanks everyone! I don't feel like a rock star. I feel kind of perpetually homicidal. I just got back from another three hour NST and my BP is still up, even with the meds three times a day. They're seriously starting to talk induction, although my midwife rocks and is willing to put it off until after the 19th as long as the babies and I are doing OK. It's so hard to know what the right thing is to do.

Ditto...

I have about 6 lbs of baby to haul around; I couldn't imagine carrying double that. But you're almost there!!
