Maybe I have been making excuses all this time, busy with work, come home and crash, but I really haven't been the best at practicing them. I am supposed to be at - 200 a day now?? Yikes, I am nowhere near! Anyone else feeling unprepared in the stretchy way?

200 a day??  I don't do kegels that much.  They don't help (and can actually hurt) if you aren't doing squats anyway according to this.

I don't do them. I did them for my first pregnancy, and possibly my second, but not since. So I'm probably pretty far behind on my numbers. ;) I do remember having a really hard time keeping up during my first pregnancy when I was actually trying to do them regularly, though.

I TRIED to do them for awhile.  I took Bradley classes and our instructor really stressed them.  But honestly, I was lucky if I averaged 100 per day.  I don't think I did many at all during the last few weeks.  My labor was fast and I only pushed for 15 minutes or so, but I don't think it has anything to do with how many Kegels I did or didn't do.  I am going to try to do them now to get things down there back in order, but I actually think that doing fewer Kegels and holding them for longer might be more beneficial that doing a whole bunch of quick ones.

I really never did them.  And pushed both my babies out in 3 pushes.  I'd rather do them for the bladder control than childbirth.  But, I forget.  A lot.

Ditto.... I do squats, though. I'm hoping those will help!

I do them when I remember which isn't quite enough I'm sure. But so far I've had no problem pushing my babies out quickly. I've also had no issues with bladder control, so it must be enough.

I am way behind this time around.  I rarely do them if at all and I was pretty good about it with my first baby.  I am kinda scared because I remember how sore my kegel muscle and pelvic floor were after he was born.  I did push for almost 2 hours and my whole body was sore.....I know my kegel isn't strong enough now...Sometimes I sneeze and pee a little bit--sorry if too much info there. ;)

Not really.  When I occassionally remember, I try to do them while I'm sitting at red lights, which in this county, is everytime you want to drive further than 2 blocks.  I'd much rather do other things for pelvic floor muscles...like squats, and rolling my hips around while on my yoga ball, and doing pigeon pose and such after swimming.  Swimming!  That has to help, right?  lol  I'll just pretend that it does.  I figure there are only so many things you can do to prepare physically, and kegels just haven't been on the top of the list.

Ditto.  My babies pretty much fly out, and I rarely remember to do Kegels.  I don't do squats at all b/c it kills the arthritis in my knees, especially with the added weight and shifted center of gravity!
