Waiting for this little bub to make his apprearance and while he's biding his time, I've developed a new gang of hems (to go with the ones that still linger from last pregnancy)!! OW!! I am now starting to dread labour and what the pushing will do to my poor butt!!!! uhoh3.gif

My MW will help me by putting pressure with her hand in the rear area.  Hope it works, because OW is right, they are no fun.  Also I was told to pick up Rhoid cream from Mother Love Herbs.

HTH, because I understand your pain!

I had them bad in the beginning because of medication, so I did some online research. Apparently high levels of b6 helps clear them up - 100 mg a day or 50 mg  day. I have been doing that for the past week and I haven't had anymore yet. It won't hurt anything to try - I think people take the b6 for morning sickness up until the end of their pregnancy anyway. I tried the Earth Angel cream, but I swear the b6 has helped more.

Wish I had known about the b6 sooner! I have had them the entire time, I get them right where I had stitches, DS1's birth left me a 4th degree tear.  They aren't super painful, but  hard to pass BM's aren't fun and neither is wiping (sorry about the TMI).  They do go away after I give birth and I can't wait.  I also bought the Earth Mama Angel Baby postpartum kit to aid healing after the birth.

I got a few a month ago and I expect they won't be going anywhere until after baby's born. I must be more susceptible to them now that I've had them. I got them really bad after my last birth but got lucky I guess because they went away after a week.

I got the bottom balm but not the spray, it wasn't bad at the time, but now I'm thinking spray is a good idea, maybe I'll put some witch hazel in a spray bottle in the fridge...I'll try to get some B6, too....thanks for the tip!

I've got them too. I've got the spray and tucks pads and refrigerated witch hazel and frozen witch hazel soaked sanitary towels etc. I've never heard of the B6 before. I'll give it a try for sure.

I find putting a good few drops of lavender EO in the bath really helps bring relief and doing it for a few days helps them shrink up quite a bit. Plus it smells good and helps me relax.
