OMG I had the best thing in the world yesterday - not healthy AT ALL but it was soooo good. A chocolate milkshake and french fries from McDonalds. I never eat McDonalds, in fact I rarely eat FF (except Chik Fil A!) but this was liek the best thing I've eaten in so long.

I know its total crap food and my stomach was not happy afterwards but my taste buds were happy for a little while! I love salty foods and chocolate together. I used to dip potato chips in chocolate ice cream, yum!

I hope this baby starts craving healthy food soon!

Out of nowhere I started craving a monte cristo sandwich a little while ago.

I'm incredibly nauseous from this stupid flu but I really, really want one even though I know it's a bad idea. For many reasons, not the least of which are that it's both incredibly unhealthy and very likely to make me sick.

Unfortunately, my brain is telling me that maybe it making me sick is a good thing, i.e. I won't want one again. I think that's just me talking myself into one though.

So, the question is this: do I trek downstairs to where I left my phone and call and order one from the diner a few blocks away that basically knows me better than DF since we moved into this house or do I continue to lay here and waste away?

Decisions, decisions.

Done.

Ham, turkey, swiss cheese on french toast sprinkled with powdered sugar and dipped in raspberry jam. Home fries on the side.

And I've kept it down - woo!

Bump...

Woot woot! End of morning sickness celebration! It pretty much disappeared overnight when I entered week 12. I started cooking food for the first time in 6 weeks. I made a yummy garlic/summer squash soup, and last night made something called "Crusty Mexican bean bake." Best thing I've eaten in months. And I just had a snack of mochi with honey and cream cheese. I'm just so happy to be able to eat again. Whew!

O M G !!!! Ben and Jerry's Key Lime Pie Icecream. DIVINE!!! I am in heaven. No, I do not feel the least bit bad about all the sugar before bed. This is just too good!

I don't think I've cooked in days... Skating by on the seasonal barbecues, going to my mom's house and eating out. And having ice cream for a very very late dinner.

Since tonight was all special and junk, I made a celebratory meal: coq au vin, roasted carrots and roasted red baby potatoes, and chocolate mousse for dessert. I also had a glass of red wine. So good. I'm not planning on having any more for a while, but I'm not not planning on it either. I'm an "everything in moderation" kind of gal, I guess.

I haven't heard of that flavor. I'm a HUGE citrus fan, so I'll be sure to check it out.

NOTHING! But I wish I was eating a caesar salad with grilled chicken. And a raspberry lime rickey... Except I'm not on the east coast so I can't even GET a rickey.

I really need to stop watching the Food Network at night, because I saw a show one night about seafood and the thought of a shrimp po'boy made me INSANE. It took me days to figure out where to get a decent one and finally yesterday I ended up at Whole Foods where the seafood counter makes a pretty dandy po'boy. I ate that whole shrimp po'boy and the side of shoestring fries with malt vinegar. Me and baby were VERY, VERY happy!

One day last week I was out shopping and suddenly got the "hungries". I started getting a little sick and lightheaded and the closest place to get food quickly was a Burger King. I begrudgingly went in, breaking my rule about fast food, and chose a Tendercrisp chicken sandwich. They made it fresh for me and OH MY GOSH IT WAS SO FRIGGIN GOOD! Might have to go back there....

Hey as long as I'm eating, right? Like some of the other mamas said, I sure hope I start craving healthy food soon....

The broken fridge is dangerous, I blame the newest 3 lbs on not cooking... but really I should blame it on the small choco-cherry blizzard I got on the way home from picking up my labwork.

So now I want a po'boy sandwich and fries w/ vinegar. I do not eat fries w/ vinegar but it sounds soooooooooooooo good now. Would have no idea where to get either since we don't eat out often & have only been in the area 6 months. I think we have a whole foods....maybe tmrw.

I'm eating the really good, crunchy- refrigerated brand pickles, so good. Plus these luigi mango cups are awesome at night...but had last one last night.

My brother picked me up at the airport and on the way to my Mom's house he went through a What-A-Burger drive-thru for me.

Hello, sweetheart.
