Title says it all. We had a ton of strawberries so I made jam. Jam smelled so good I had to make bread..... No I am in trouble. I wish not to gain a billion pounds with this pregnancy but amazingly the bread and jam have learned my name and are calling out in longing to me from the kitchen....

Well, you know, if it's just too tempting, you can always some some down my way! :-) Even with my nausea, that sounds incredible... and I'm so impressed that you have the energy and focus to accomplish all that!

Jam is never safe around me, pregnancy has nothing to do with it.

My Dad used to go grocery shopping with his list once a week when I was a kid and the only constant (besides his beer ) was raspberry jam. And then he had to start buying multiple jars because one just wouldn't last until the next trip.

So, yeah . . . "got jam? Eat it," is pretty much my motto in life.

Oh that sound so good! It can't be that bad for you...can it? At least it's real and not store bought.

It was a rare moment of focus and motivation! Plus it has the big payoff of jam and bread! THe kids are making short work of the fresh bread and putting a good dent in the jam. It really is soooo good.

I'm totally in awe of you for making jam and baking bread. I have no energy. I won't even admit how long it's been since I mopped my kitchen floor.

Oh my kitchen floor is unmopped. You can't eat a floor why would I waste my energy on that!

Very true. Now that you mention it, I did make some brownies from scratch the other day. I found the energy for that with no problem!
