I am so dog-tired, that I had to lie down for a nap today at 10, then again at 3, and in between I am dragging. This isn't the first day of this.
This is supposed to be the 2nd tri! Where's my energy?
I am starting to wonder if I might be anemic somehow, even though my iron has always been high, even with the other two pregnancies.

Anyway, I wondered what those special prenatal vites everyone was talking about, that don't make you nauseous and do make you feel more energetic, or better, were? Brand name? I'd like to see if I can get them through the health food store.

Thanks for any help!

Floradix is an iron supplement that is non-binding and helps with energy. Rainbow Light Prenatals are what I take because they are plant based and you only have to swallow one each day.

Susan~Mama to Atticus (2003), Creeley (2005), Townsyn (2007) and a fourth boy on the way in 2011!

Thanks, you all!

It turned out to be a temporary thing, perhaps an illness, because my toddler also crashed at 4 pm, I woke him to eat a few bites at dinnertime, but he went right back to sleep, saying "Mama, I worn out!" and slept the whole afternoon and night! Totally not like him!
So whatever it was, I think it was an illness.

But I am still going to look into those vites you mentioned. Can't hurt.

When I was researching prenatals, the other well-loved brand I came across was New Chapter. That's what I went with, and really like them. They're also food-based, but you do have to swallow 3 (but they're a LOT smaller than "typical" prenatals!).
