I gained 50lbs with my 1st and will prob do the same with this munchkin...I wouldn't stress it except that my midwives are telling me if I gain more than 35 or 40lbs I can't do a water birth. So I am a little bummed because I am def on the way to 50 again! oh well. I don't eat perfectly by any means but my diet is the smae as when I am not preggo, what can you do my body knows what it needs, right? And I suppose I can labor in the tub either way...we'll see if they can get me out! haha!

I had my 28 week update and he said i was up 27lbs. Granted the clothes r heavier now then when I started, hehe. I brought it up & told him about the weight last time since I have diff dr b/c of diff location. He said the weight total isn't that big, just a big jump since last appt. So that made me feel a little better.

Redclover-totally agree!!! We really shouldn't stress too much. When else in ur life do u gain weight and u get comments like "oh u look great" or everyone asking how ur feeling. Granted I live far away from all family & 99% of my friends this time. Even if I gain 40lbs its 20 less. So people who saw me preg before think I look awesome-haha!
