Any body have any really great herbal sitz bath recipes?
I've been thinking I want to get that together in case it seems like something I want to do afterwards....
for my first I used the sitz bath to create a tea and soak my pads and then freeze and it was WONDERFUL!!! The cold took care of any swelling and once it thawed the herbs helped the healing process. I use a blend that I buy from the same place as my birth kit (baby birth and beyond), and it has comfrey, chamomile, lavender, uva ursi, sherpard's purse, yarrow, st john's wort, sage and echinacae root.
