I am so happy!  Our little girl made her debut today at 6am.  It was a fast and furious natural VBAC, from start of contractions labor was 4 hours.  Will post birth story in VBAC forum at a late date.

Congratulations! I am so happy you got your VBAC. Doesn't it feel so amazing? A month later I still sit and smile sometimes thinking what I accomplished.

Congrats! I like the name too - we named our little girl Elise too. I get compliments every time someone asks her name.

Soccerchic it does feel amazing.  Even though I have a pretty bad tear, third degree, I wouldn't change a thing.  I feel so accomplished and amazed that I actually did it all on my own.  That I pushed my baby into the world and held her on my tummy right after birth love.gif.  I'm still in awe!

Yes to everything. My left labia had a very significant tear but I will take that over a cesarean. I too was amazed from start to finish I did everything on my own. No induction at all. Even almost 5 weeks later I am still in awe.

Congratulations mama! You did it!!! An incredible feeling, isn't it? Hope you're recovering well. I'm still horizontal most of the time, but every day is better and I'll take this over a c/s recovery any day!
