The hospital where I work (not having my baby in though) has a 41 week rule. They had a mom at the beginning of the summer who was in for a NST at 42 weeks. The L&D manager was going a little crazy trying to figure out how to get this woman to agree to a repeat c-section. We had a little disagreement about it ;) so I never found out how it ended but there was no talk of legal action or anything. Mom simply refused and came in for NSTs.
