Wow we are getting closer!!! HOw is everyone?

I am doing okay. I was diagnosed with irritable uterus 2 weeks ago and was contracting ALL day long, but no changes to the cervix so dr put me on terb. Never took it, because the next day the contrax stopped. I was only having one or two a day. I was sick all week with a cold so I laid in bed most of the week so I think that helped. Yesterday I felt better and was up nesty nesting and OMG am paying for it. Hence why I am up at 2am. I have been contracting through the night. Ugh. I have another dr appt wed and u/s. I havent had an u/s since nov 4 so am anxious to see how babes are growing. They are moving like crazy though!! They are also both head down. I am having a terrible time breathing not only from crazy sinus issues but also due to no lung capacity.  Its terrible. Oh and am so not hungry. This is the first time ever since I have been pregnant I am actually eating less than I used to eat pre preg!! Glad I went ahead and gained all the weight earlier! I can eat at 6 pm and then not be hungry again til 8 am. That is SO not me. I am enjoying the cooler weather, being hot this big would not be fun. Also tired of wearing grandma looking clothes cos thats all i can find to fit.lol And i refuse to buy anymore. Have you all started packing your bags? I dont really know what to put in there, we have no idea if we are going to need preemie clothes or newborn clothes. Both my boys were huge(over 8 pounds) so they went straight to 0-3 months, but realistically I am guessing these two will be smaller. I just dont know what to put in the bag. Hope everyone is well! I am ready for Christmas, my sweet husband will be off for two weekends in a row!!!

I swear every day is getting harder! I can barely sleep from being uncomfortable, the dry air from the heater running at night giving me a sore throat and stuffy nose, and getting up to pee. My back hurts, my belly is sooo heavy, my maternity clothes are all getting too small, and the heartburn is driving me nuts. Despite all that I do enjoy being pregnant and am thrilled to be having two, it's just a lot harder than having one lol.

I'm doing pretty well more tired ,crazy heartburn, and some sacrum pain but nothing that's not manageable . Going to the chiropractor helps a ton. I haven't packed a bag because i'm having the boys at home. So my main focus is preparing the house and making sure we have everything we need, I figure I'll finish up everything after the holidays.

Is anyone else feeling like they just have no more room for babies to go? lol My babies are hurting me when they move and it's hard to imagine how much more it will hurt as they get bigger. My poor ribs. But I had a good appointment this morning, NST and quick u/s to check AFI. Both great and got confirmation that both babies are head down for now.

Chula- I'm waiting until after Christmas to finish up stuff too, with the holiday there is just so much going on. So as soon as Christmas is over I'll get the crib set up and get the baby clothes out (and find a dresser for the clothes lol).

Sarah- that's great DWs cntrx have calmed down and things are going well :)

Strongmama- I'm so jealous you don't get as hungry lol. I eat right before bed and wake up starving. Sorry about the irritable uterus. I haven't started packing a hospital bag yet. Most of the stuff I'd put in is stuff that I can't put in until time to go like phone and camera lol. And we haven't chosen outfits to bring the babies home in yet. I'm working on crochet blankets for the babies and will put those and some other things in there soon and finish up once we get past Christmas and life gets less crazy lol.

Not that I'm too concerned because it doesn't really affect my homebirth plans but I'm curious, Baby a is head down but baby b is breech is it possible to turn baby b without affecting the position that baby a is in?

I've done the cat-cow exercise as well as forward leaning inversions when B goes head up and it hasn't affected A and usually after a few days of doing the exercises B turns head down again. Hopefully he'll stay there now lol.

The cat-cow exercise isn't really for turning babies from breech, though it can help them if they are posterior, mostly I do it to make my back feel better. Just hand and knees and curl your back with chin and pelvis tucked in then relax it (this one is getting harder for me now that my belly's so big). I do it for a few minutes. Go to spinningbabies.com. They have a section specifically on twins that has lots of info on different techniques for turning babies. Here you go http://spinningbabies.com/spinning-babies-and/twins

Yay Chula, glad they both are head down now!

Strong Mama- yep, that's about how I feel. Just so dang uncomfortable. Sleep is practically non-existent because of getting up to pee so many times and it just plain hurts to lay down. I overdid it a few days ago packing up Christmas stuff and getting baby stuff out and paid for it that night with lots of contractions and could barely walk. So ready to be done.

I finally got bit by the nesting bug. This last week I've suddenly felt a huge rush to get everything ready. The crib is set up, baby clothes are washed and just need to get a dresser from my neighbor to put them in, gear and blankets and such is all out, packed my hospital bag. Just a few more things I need to get like a twin nursing pillow (I think DHs aunt is getting it for me) and nursing pads, but for the most part we are ready.

How are we doing ladies?  Is anyone else still getting things ready like me? It's overwhelming trying to figure out what i absolutely need , I don't want to end up with a bunch of stuff that doesn't get used.

I am almost all done getting stuff ready. Got a dresser from our neighbor and got all the clothes put away. Blankets, hats, etc is all out and ready. DH's aunt is sending me a check to use to buy a twin nursing pillow and I need to practice installing the carseats, but other than those two things I'm pretty sure we are all ready. I've reached the point where I just want these kids out of me!

Chula- sounds like you've got some nice big boys growing too! I know how you feel with that much weight lol and hoping they come sooner rather than later. Mine were born at 36w3d and are just perfect.
