Try seeing a chiropractor throughout the pregnancy!! My husband is a DC and has 6 women currently pregnant in our practice -- they all come in twice a week and have noted that their pregnancy with chiro is very noticeably healthier and more comfortable with the regular visits compared to previous pregnancies with no chiro...

Hope it helps!!

Blessings to you and your precious 'cargo'!! ;-D

* EDD: March 1st
* Age: 31
* Location: Central VA
* What number child is this for you: 4

* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Hubby is a Chiropractor and I work in his office (my favorite job EVER!), DD: 6, DS: 5, DS: 3.5 and "Rush" our yellow lab is 18 months!

* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): We have chosen to not do an ultrasound due to possible risks of radiation on brain tissue, so it'll be a surprise! According to conception date - it will probably be a girl, but hoping for another boy!! Excited for the surprise!!

* Names you like (& are willing to share): a couple family names have come up... won't know until we meet him/her!

* Birth plans/preferences: Having baby at home in large tub (may switch to a birthing pool!?) with a team of midwives (there are three of them!!), plan to keep the cord attached for at least 5-10 minutes after birth and we don't circ our boys or vax any of our kiddos!

Enjoying the little flutters of movement in my belly and watching my three children notice my belly start to grow! Their little eyes get so big! My daughter was too young when the boys were born to know anything about the birth of her siblings... this will be the first one my daughter can attend and really KNOW how babies are born!!
Lots to do - gave away everything we had 'baby' after our youngest boy -- thought we were done... oops! (I'm secretly thrilled we get to start over!) and we're going cloth diapers/wipes this time so - New adventures all around!

God Bless you all and I'm happy to 'meet' you!!

Kiera

update

I got my big scan, and found out 2 things:

It's another GIRL! I am so excited to have 2 girls! They'll just be 20 months apart so the plan is for them to be best friends. Ha.

I wasn't really sure on my LMP or conception date, although I have some ideas...baby is measuring smaller than we thought, so new due date is March 6. I am happy with that assessment because that gives me more time if the original one of what I thought really IS Feb. 28. I know ultrasounds can be notoriously off, but several organs and bones and head measurements were saying more like 16w4d and 17w3d rather than anywhere near the 18w I thought I was. To me, this is especially in my favor since I want a VBAC and I don't want anyone getting freaked out if I end up 44 weeks pregnant, ha.

We decided on a HBAC wooooo!

Mama to 2 little darling squooshy faces

We are having a boy and although they don't change it when it's that close to the original, edd from ultrasound is 3/23 (we like this date better because we were kind of hoping for an Aries)...so that's what I'm counting on, dd was born on her ultrasound date

Hello! My name is Danielle and I'm expecting a boy in March.  I'll be 38 by then and my husband will be 48.  I have an 8 year old daughter from a previous marriage and he has a 21 year old daughter also from a previous marriage. We've been living in Southern Colorado but are in the process of moving back to Denver.

We tried for 9 months before getting pregnant, though I have to say it was only really like 4 months of really paying attention to my cycle.

I had a great natural, "easy" birth with my daughter and am hoping for the same with this one.  I'm having a bit of anxiety because my quad screen came out abnormal, and though further ultrasound testing has made the risk of down's syndrome seem pretty remote, the perinatal specialist is worried about the health of the placenta and wants to induce at 39 weeks.  So the birth plan right now is to do lots of acupuncture so we don't make it to 39 weeks!

Hey, can you move me from March 10 to March 17?  March 10 was based on LMP.  March 17 is based on when I know we DTD.  And the U/S supports my dates rather than the LMP dates.

Also, can you add a girl smilie for me?
