i'll join in! i work out as often as i can because i love getting that hour to myself. i usually listen to npr podcasts or watch bad crime drama; so awesome! i'm really worried about how i'll pull it off with a newborn :/ hopefully we'll figure something out.
anyway, i worked out yesterday and am riding my bike to work today. i'd normally work out every day this week, except we're going camping so i may miss a day. will likely make it up with some bike riding though. yay!
I listen to NPR podcasts too! Glad to hear I am not the only one who does that =) I figure people must sometimes wonder why I giggle when I work out though.
It is definitely harder with a newborn but walks are always good and there are DVDs for new moms that incorporate the baby into a postnatal workout.

!!!! I am constantly cracking up and grinning when I work out. Thankfully, more so than crying, which also happens lol <3 npr something fierce. i went through all of radio lab and am holding off on downloading the lastest couple of episodes until i get a good stockpile again. I've been catching up on This American Life while I wait. again, love it soooo much!!!
Thanks for the encouragement. I do vaguely remember going on walks with Nico when he was a newborn lol
Well I fell off the bandwagon for the last 10 days or so...but here's to a new beginning! I did about 30 mins with the kettlebell today and am hoping to get back to my goal of 4-5 times a week.
The two weeks before this were bad but this week I did stuff 5 days! I can really tell that my blood cell supply needs to catch as even my palates/yoga mix had me out of breath at points (did not a couple weeks ago). So I did not push super hard but just did what I could!
I probably won't start exercising until after DS goes back to school next week. (Hard for me to believe that school is already about to start again). Working nights, the best time for me to exercise is right after I wake up and before I pick up DS from school. But right now, I've just been so sleepy, I can't wake up to do it.
