This morning I (excitedly) mentioned this to my neighbor at the bus stop and she looked me up and down and said "No...if I didn't know you were pregnant, I'd think you were just bloated or on your cycle."

I totally get where you are coming from... right now I feel like I look huge, but people aren't saying anything yet. One friend that we hadn't seen in a while said she "was wondering" when she walked up, but that she hadn't wanted to say anything and be wrong.
My daughters' first day of school was Monday and when I was running into lots of other parents I'm friends with if I put my hand on my belly and started to open my mouth to tell them they would immediately get it, but of course before I do that I just look like I need to do some sit ups.
I know it shouldn't matter, but it just bugs!
Mama to 3 awesome girls: DD1 born 2001, DD2 born 2002, DD3 born March 2011
We just moved a month ago. None of my friends and family have seen the changes in me. So I haven't been able to get their opinions.
My new friends here know I am pregnant, but don't know exactly what I looked like before. So, no basis for comparison.
Some of my online friends want me to take belly pics, but I don't want to yet because I think I just look fat. I had a little extra in the middle before getting pregnant, and I think the slight bulge added to that looks awful on me.
I'm not showing! I just look like I've gained weight. Sometimes I care, most times I don't. Seems like I should be showing at 14 weeks, but I think my belly and boobs are just built so that I'm swelling evenly all over instead of getting a baby bump.
I'm tempted to go out and get maternity blouses that make me look more pregnant.
