OK, so DH and I had sex the other day (this is a bit of a rarity) and I had some spotting afterwords for a few hours, it was really just like blood tinged discharge, then the next day I had one time when I had the same thing. I read about it online and of course different places say different things, but I came to the conclusion that it's probably no big deal, due to the increased blood flow to the area, and I'll just wait until my next appointment with midwife, which is Wednesday, and mention it then. Anyone else experience this? Thoughts?

I've had spotting on occasion from my cervix being a bit abused. This whole pregnancy, it has happened every time we've done anything in a position where my cervix gets touched (like missionary position). I've been insisting on other positions (like hands and knees) because like that all the force is absorbed by the front wall. (Plus it feels better for me.)

I haven't this pregnancy, but did a few times with my first. as long as it's only a little blood then it's not a concern.

The spotting all seems to be over. No problems anymore. Looking back, those first weeks are so nerve-wracking the first time around.
