We saw the baby today. just a quick peak, since we couldn't get the heart on the doppler. no pictures, but it was wiggling around and everything looks good so far. They're having me do a 24/hr urine collection, since my bp is on the high side of normal (174/80, then 144/82) they want a base line, in case it starts to go up later on. I refused to take an early glucose test though. I'm not doing it twice this time, I refuse to unless there's evidence that indicates it's necessary. So they just did a blood draw instead, which I was more ok with. I had also lost 7lbs since my last visit, which was more than i'd expected.

the BP seemed pretty normal to me, but I don't mind doing their test, it's not invasive at all- albeit a bit annoying. I'm overweight, so the first thing they start worrying about is my blood sugar and my blood pressure. I've never really had problems with either, but that doesn't seem to matter.

same here! my BP is about the same... i tend to have a bit higher of readings in office too, so my DP went out and got me a home BP monitor. wouldn't you know it...it was much lower at home in a calm, relaxing setting.

Yay! Congratulations! We just saw ours, also kicking and moving around, which made it SO much more real. In the picture the doctor gave us we can even see a perfect little left fist, with four clear fingers and a thumb.

glad you got to see the baby moving around!! It's just so cool- makes me think 'how can I not FEEL that!!"

my bp's always been fine but because I gained a lot of weight with my first 2 and had kind big babies my mw wanted me to do early glucose test. I did it and it was normal. despite being big my girls never had issues after birth with blood sugars so I obviously wasn't diabetic.
