I woke up from a dream around 2:15 am that my water had broke. Sure enough, it had. Contrax are getting closer together and I'm having to breathe through them. The contrax are 2-5 minutes apart right now. The last one lasted over 2 min. Hopefully we will have a baby by daylight!!
ETA: The bloody show started about a 1/2 an hr after my water broke. I'm def. in active labor.
Deron Michael arrived on April 14th at 6:33am. Four hrs after my water broke. I only had 2hrs of intense labor.
He weighed in at 8lb 10oz. Head 15 in. and 20 1/2 in long. He was 39w and 6d according to lmp. And 40w exactly according to 23w u/s.
He was not born in the tub. I got out to push. The tub wasn't feeling "right" for pushing.
I have some skid marks and small 1st degree tear in the wall. So far all is healing up well and I'm feeling great!
oh man @ 2 minute active labor contraction!!!
Can't wait to hear news!!
So jealous! I have that dream every night (literally) only to be disappointed when I wake up! lol. ELV to you! Hope you're holding your little one by now. Can't wait to read the birth story!!
Congratulations, he is absolutely gorgeous!
I hope you will heal quickly, good to hear that you are feeling great! And good luck with your placenta project if you are still up for it!

Tsm for all the well wishes. We are both continuing to do well. My milk is in, YAY! It started coming in sometime Friday night. We are ebf'ing and exclusively cloth diapering. This little guy has a "virgin butt" lol.
I hope to catch up on all the new baby stories tomorrow.
I still have to complete my birth story. Hopefully soon!!
We plan on getting the placenta dehydrated this week. I am looking forward to the results!
