My husband likes to talk to other new mothers about how we are going with the birth center that had a complicated hospital birth-due to interventions. Of course they get all defensive because they feel that he is saying they did the unsafe thing, tell him their horror story and then he gets freaked out. so frusterating. i told him to write down his concerns for the midwife and he won't. UGH sometimes i feel like giving up the fight, but it is such a huge thing

I try to get dh to give vague answers when questions are asked.

Where are you having the baby? I give the name of the county we live in which is also the name of the local hospital (followed by a few other words).

Are you going to find out what you are having? A simple "no" will do. If you aren't having an ultrasound done, no one needs to know.
