Those muffins do sound delicious ... I may have to make some as well!

Packed the hospital bag this weekend as well as DD's overnight bag.  I hadn't been feeling any kind of rush on this, and then I spent 3 hours in false labor Saturday night.  The whole i was thinking, "oh crap, I haven't packed DD's bag!!!!"

I'm glad it was false labor, because my DD - being sooooo good at sharing - gave me the chest cold she had last week.  So, I need baby girl to wait a few days so I can get healthy.  Pretty sure that hacking up a lung is not going to help me out during labor. winky.gif

hooray!  was just able to cross three things off my list.  i'll be 39 weeks tomorrow and this is starting to become real for me, so i've gotta get some stuff done.

had to add a couple things to the list, but nothing too time consuming.

i also deleted a couple.  my MIL got us four months of a diaper service (just so we don't have to worry about doing the washing the first few months).  i originally had suggested that she just help with purchasing the diapering (and washing) supplies since that's what we'll end up doing anyway, but i gotta admit that i'm now relieved that i won't have to worry about it for a little bit.  was feeling overwhelmed with all the choices, so now i have more time to research.  and by the time the service is up, baby will probably be ready for the next size diaper (so i don't need to invest in the newborn size).  still want to get a couple new covers, but that's easy enough.

also have "finish knitting baby blanket" on my list, which i'm pretty sure won't be happening.  oh, well.

- Clear space in bedroom for birth pool

- Test birth pool and buy any supplies needed

- Order birth kit

- Buy essential oils and diffuser

- Pull out all the baby/newborn boxes of items

- Assess what else we need that we don't have (and buy it)

- Find a place for all that stuff

- Figure out how we are going to fit a third carseat across the back seat and install it (have ordered a Radian and the infant base is installed)

- Set up co-sleeper (we will do this after the birth since it will be in the same place as the birthing tub)

- Get all diapers washed and into drawers of changing table

- Move changing table into master

- Find a temporary storage solution for DS's clothes since he is currently using the changing table drawers

- Finish Hypnobabies course

- Finish reading "The Nature of Birth and Breastfeeding" to DH

- Put up pictures/paintings in master

- Find a new home for one of our cats (Just kidding! But he is driving us nuts pooping everywhere except the litter box shake.gif)

I don't even want to post on this anymore cause it's depressing. Most of the baby/prep stuff is done, but there are SOOOO many other projects that need to be done around the house for DH to do and I know it's going to get done, but probably most of it will be done after baby arrives and DH has 2 weeks off to do them all. Only things left on my list:

Wash the cotton prefolds and covers

Ask my mama to help me make the freezer meals she was planning on making for me

instal carseat base into car

pack DS a bag

pack birthing center bag

pick out going home outfit for DD and pack in bag

make sure camera and video camera is charged

Today was an awesome day because my mom and sister hired a cleaning service to come clean the house, so while they were doing that, my mom, sister and I and the kids all went out to a fun kids boutique and I got DS and DD a Aiden and Anias cotton blanket and my mom bought DD a cute Nicole ****** Kids outfit. It's grey and yellow..so cute. Then we went to a local healthfood store and sat outside drinking tea and snacking.  I also went ahead and bought a bunch of gluten free goods like bread, bagles, frozen pizza and fish sticks to have on hand for us as a back up meal at home postpartum. Also something easy for DH to prepare for DS. I never buy the processed food, but I'm actually looking forward to being able to eat some of that myself. I haven't been able to digest processed grains this whole pregnancy and I'm looking forward to being able to eat an entire bagel without barfing or having heartburn, lol.

My list is finally short enough to go on here, haha!  We are going to be moving into a new house right at or around my due date, so I scratched off a lot of 'nursery prep' projects.

 Buy baby detergent

 Stock up on groceries

Actually pack clothes in my hospital bag ( nothing fits anymore!)

 Finish diaper covers

 Recover crib mattress

 Monogram blankets

 Finish embroidery projects

Find a boy outfit for coming home ( just in case)

 Make room for bassinette

Pack all the knick-knacks ( less to clean)

 Buy more batteries

 Type up birth plan

 Clean out fridge

  Repaint changing table

Switch ipod tunes from dance music to birthing music

Put velcro on bibs

Buy more velcro

Do my nails

Buy a lot of elastic hair ties

I'm sure there is more. Every time I start one project I see another needing to be finished.

I just finished up vacuuming my house.  My entire house.  Carpets, hardwoods, kitchen floor, baseboards (so dusty!!), ceilings (stupid cobwebs!), furniture, drapes, etc.  I think I maaaaaaay be nesting just a little...

I stopped myself from scrubbing the baseboards since we are having a cleaning service come out to deep clean the house.

All that is done.

I just re-sanitized the toilets, tubs, sinks, counters, and kitchen floor. Cleaned the washer and dryer, vacuumed, dusted, washed the ceiling fan globes, washed all the drapes and curtains, packed the diaper bag, inflated the birth ball, and cleaned out the car. Still have to cook some freezer meals, organize my baby sewing materials, make a list of people to call, wash the bassinet sheets, and find a swim suit top for the tub.

All done here, and DH's 2 weeks vacation starts on Monday, so he's getting crackin on all the house projects that need to be done. I'm so bored right now though, It's mostly DH outside using dangerous or heavy equipment(so DS can't go out there with him without me) while I'm inside with DS all day, just like it is most days except DS and I usually go do stuff. I like to spend the weekend at home though typically unless there's a pressing reason we need to go out. Just anxiously awaiting baby's arrival. She's due on Monday and I'm getting antsy. I'm so tired right now though!
