Yay!  Two days 'til 37 weeks for me.  Last week, I got my traveling medical records to present at the hospital when it's time.  From now on I have to carry it in my purse and bring it to each appointment to add weekly stats.  I pray I go early this time!  Waiting is sooo hard!

You know, no matter how hard I try each time to not obsess about how many weeks/days I am and when my "due" date is, when I get this close, I fail miserably nono02.gif

Just turned 36 weeks yesterday and in shock that by the end of this week I may be switching to a home birth.  Am I crazy?  I did a home birth with my last but we were trying to save money.  I have an u/s and appt on Friday and that will be the determining factor.  If I get the run around with the midwife trying to label the baby with IUGR-  I'm seriously out of there.  I don't need to spend the last month of my pregnancy under a model of "fear".  This is my last baby and I want to cherish these last weeks rather than spend them defending my right not to be induced.

the instructor of my birth class, after getting to know my husband and me a bit better, was surprised we weren't doing a home birth.  She just shrugged and said "well, what I'd suggest then is not heading to the hospital til you're 9 cm."  At which point, I don't know if I'd want to endure a car ride!  I think she's just trying to trick us into a home birth ;)  Still, we do plan on waiting as long as possible, even though we do like the hospital and the midwives there.

I just hit 37 weeks today! Man, it got here fast. I feel like I've been mentally waiting for the magic 37 this whole time and now that it's here I sort of want to go back and give myself some more time. Anyone want to come and finish up my to-do list for me? ROTFLMAO.gif

I'm 37 weeks on Thursday!!! I am getting sooo excited. I've been having SO many contractions....like 10+ an hour sometimes.  My friend who's a MW (we're doing a UC but having my friend who's a MW be on call for us and come over after the birth) doesn't think I'm going to make it to May.  I just want to make it until Thursday and then I'll be set to go whenever my body and baby are ready!! EEEK! I can't believe how close it is.  After two miscarriages..it's almost surreal that I have a baby so close to term inside of me!

My last minute TO DO list includes making a labor snack list, making and freezing some meals, making some meals for my best friend who just had her baby a few days ago, cleaning up my bedroom, setting up the co sleeper and testing out our hose/pool!

Can't wait to have a squishy newborn to snuggle and nurse!!! And for the hip pain to stop!!! ;)

I'm 37wks too and feeling ready, though I know I probably have a few more weeks left to go. I got all the baby clothes and blankets washed yesterday. Now I just need to wash the nb diapers/covers and other miscellaneous things like the bouncy seat cover, car seat cover, boppy cover, nursing gowns, and slings.

Happily married, busy mom to a houseful :-)

Expecting again early Oct 2014!

37 weeks today! It's been a whirlwind of a day though. I awoke last night at around 12:45 to a loud banging noise on the windows. We were hit with a big hail storm, golf ball size! I couldn't even hear my hubby talking to me it was so loud hitting the windows. I ran in and my son was sitting up in bed, saying "what happened?" Wasn't even crying or anything, and I was freaking out! We took our son into our bed and he went right back to sleep. The power was out though so the room started getting warm, and it was still pouring after the hail stopped, so we couldn't open the windows..it was like 65 outside. Hubby and I couldn't get back to sleep until the rain stopped at around 4 am. Slept till 7 and hubby got up to go take a look at the damage. Our brand new swingset that DH put together on his own(15 hour job) was toppled over and needs to be replaced. Both our cars are damaged from the hail, numerous outdoor house lights are broken, 5 shattered windows, our shop is banged up, about half of the fences and posts are broken or toppled over. It was crazy. We've never been hit with a tornado before, I always thought that would be the worse kind of weather to hit us, but the side winds and hail certainly did a number! We lost power and water and the power is still out, 21 hours later. We are staying at my inlaws. I just keep thinking about all the food that is spoiling in my fridge and freezer. Yay for homeowners and car insurance. Should be getting a check soon. Just not great timing! But, today has been an incredibly relaxing day. We drove out to my in-laws and ate lunch at Red Robin with my MIL, then took the cars up to a collision repair center to get a quote from the Geico rep, sans kid(MIL kept him) then came back, hung out for a bit then I took a 1 hour nap while DS and DH played outside(it was 73 out today, sunny and beautiful), then my MIL made us dinner and we got DS to bed at 8, and now I'm hanging out on the couch, eating ice cream.  My house is a mess because we let the dog inside soaking wet, so the floors are a wreck, laundry needs to be done and bathrooms cleaned, but being away from it all day has been refreshing! I canceled my midwife appointment today, and I'm planning on going tomorrow instead. Not in a huge hurry to go since there's nothing exciting thats happening right now, lol.

37 weeks tomorrow for me!! A friend of mine who was a week ahead of me delivered last week, and I'm starting to wonder if this little baby is going to make it to May (though probably, I'll go till a full moon pulls her out!) : )

37 today. I just need him or her to stay in until after the move and the kitchen gets unpacked. So no earlier than Saturday. Though waiting until the day after my due date when my Mum will be here would be perfect.

YES!  Man, I am so ready to have this baby.  I'm ready to meet her and hold her, and I'm really ready to not be pregnant anymore.  I'm 37w4d, so here's hoping I get my wish real soon!! (When she's ready, of course!)
