My water broke this morning, but no contractions yet. I'd rather not do the Pitocin thing if I don't have to. Any tips on getting contractions started at this point?

Hopeful for the next!
In a midwifery text, I read, if you keep hands and other things out of there, then you shouldn't be concerned for up to 96 hours.
Keep things externally clean as well according to the advice from another recent, similar thread. (rinsing with a peri bottle)
Contractions should start up soon for you. I wouldn't worry about it yet.

I know you are probably in labor at this point, but using the breast pump and walking sure got mine going for labor. I ended up having the midwife break my water to get the contractions going strong enough to be in active labor, but every time I pumped, then walked, then pumped again, it got the contractions going!
