I'm Kaitlin, and I just found out today that I'm pregnant for the very first time! That makes my due date June 13, 2011 according to FF.
We'd been trying for 8-9 cycles and have had some difficult time due to male factor infertility. I had basically given up hope, to the point that I actually threw away a positive IC yesterday before giving it enough time to have both lines develop, because I was so certain that it would be negative.
I'm 22 years old, Canadian, living in Northern Alberta, and I've been married for 3 years to my wonderful husband, Alex, 24. I currently work in a music store, and my husband is a trucker. We just bought our first house this summer and have been really anxious to start our family. I enjoy knitting, reading, drawing and painting, listening to and writing music, good blogs, cooking and collecting records. I hope over the next 9 months to knit many many baby clothes, learn to sew really well on my machine (which languishes as we speak in what will now be the baby's room) and document this journey to the best of my ability by journaling and taking photographs.
So far my symptoms have been chapped lips, exhaustion, increased appetite and the bloated "I ate a really bad burger" feeling in my abdomen.
Life is all kinds of surreal right now, it's not quite sunk in.
I'm really really glad to be here.
I'm Laura and my husband and I are expecting our first child June 5, 2011!
We were fortunate to have to try for only three cycles (charting) before getting our bfp at 9dpo this month. I'm excited to be pregnant and looking foward to the journey, but am getting anxious to tell people! Ideally, we'd like to wait until around Thanksgiving to spill the beans, but it will be hard keeping the news from my mom that long.
I just found my midwife practice and have a first appointment at 8 weeks. Time is dragging!
Looking forward to sharing the ride with all of you. Best wishes and congratulations to all!

I've wanted to have babies since I was 22 (eight years ago) but didn't think it made sense yet. My husband is a couple of years younger than me, and became ready a couple of years ago. Then we were waiting for our circumstances to be good . . . and now here we are! I don't know how active I'll be in the thread, but I'm excited at the idea of having a community going through it at the same time as me.
Busy Mom raising 5 kiddos, 7, 6, 5, 2 and a brand new bundle!! (5/15/11)
I had a u/s last week that was giving me a June due date now, so can you move me to late may/early June? I'll have another U/s next week so I will hopefully know more then, the last one only showed a sac.(We were looking for ectopic)

I'm really excited as i didn't think i would get pregnant this month. I was all set to get blood work done to make sure everything was in order. I am planning another home VBAC like I had with my son. I'm due June 9.

I'm Kimberly, and I got a very surprising BFP today. From my estimate, it looks like my due date is June 12th.
DH and I have been TTC for 6 months or so, and we had actually just decided in the last week to stop trying and for me to get an IUD put back in. We're in the process of deciding to make a big cross-country move in the next couple of years and finishing up some schooling before then, and it all seemed like it would be much, much easier with only one kid. We hardly had sex at ALL last month -- and to be honest, not anywhere close to when I was ovulating. Seriously, this must be some kind of super sperm that lasted in there. I can't freakin' belive I'm pregnant. I took a test today because of a few weird symptoms I've been having that also came up with DD -- felt like I had a urinary tract infection, coffee started tasting TERRIBLE and the worst, crankiest PMS ever. I was so shocked to see two lines on a Dollar Store test that I ran to buy a digital and yup, pregnant.
So -- DH is excited, I'm excited but also in shock and well, here I am. Happy to be here with you all!

I'm homeschooling the older 3 this year, but we're prepping for a public school effort next year.I was hopping to go to college. We'll see.I would SO bring a tiny baby nursing in a sling to class!Been married 11 years, and are just now starting to address some of the issues having so many kids so fast and never not having kids can generate or cover up...Anyway.Headed into a huge year here!Lots of learning and growth!
I guess I'm due May 27(rough calc based on only one cycle), but my first daughter was born two weeks after her "due date" (which, crazily enough, was May 31, 2009) so I'm going to be wise this time and expect a June baby (and get a mid-May baby instead I'm sure!!)
Looking forward to getting to know you ladies a little better! This pregnancy wasn't planned (my dd is only 15 months, I only had ONE period and we used protection, but there you go) but I am getting excited! We wanted a second one someday, just thought they'd be quite a bit further apart.
So anyway, this is baby #2 and I guess I should go in the "late May" box, but I have my first US next week and expect to get re-dated to the first week of June.
Hope you ladies are all feeling well and getting excited. We have a long road ahead of us!
Blogging SAHM to daughters Q (6/09) and R (6/11).
