Ugh. DS and I just spent the past few days laid out with an awful stomach flu. I had to have my mom take off work to come care for him/us on Friday (DH had a rush order at work and actually had to go in early and on Saturday afternoon.) It was really so so so awful. DS's first time throwing up, complete with dry heaves, bile, the whole she-bang. So glad we're all better. We got our first snow of the year here. Maybe tomorrow, we'll bundle up and get out in it. Had to have a heating repair guy come over today. Furnace was going out. What a weekend! I do feel like I've lost a few lbs. I wish my midwife appt was this week instead of next.

BFing, bedsharing, toddler wearing, non-circing, vegan mama to the sweetest boy in the world (2/08), wife to my spicy rock star (4/06) and expecting a new family member 6/11

Hi ladies, not advertising for ON, but I just bought two maternity sweaters for only $15. They're having a two for one sale this week. Use code ONSWEATER.

~Karenchicken3.gifso happy to be mothering my four... DS ('94), DS ('94), DD ('00), and DS -- June 8, 2011, our UC baby!

Hubby and I are starting to make some progress on names (which has been an area of huge gridlock for us). Also, I unexpectedly started my cloth diaper stash; a friend of mine is cleaning out her house (which was her mom's house before she moved in, so years' worth of stuff in there) and she found some old prefolds. She doesn't even have any kids, they're left over from her niece, who is my age... so they're old, but still in good condition. They have velcro tabs and I am not really sure what to do with those and whether to keep them or snip them off.
