Seeing all the different shapes and sizes for babies that are roughly all the same size is really amazing to me. Aren't women's bodies just freaking cool?!

WOOHOO 24 weeks! Other than a little trouble sleeping and some ligament pain, I'm in tip-top shape, feels great :) I think Baby Gaga and I are having a growth spurt right now, because I could eat a house, and then sleep forever.. :P

OMG crunchyclark your belly is so tiny and adorable! I'm in such awe of moms who grow tiny bellies. I'm practically showing when the test turns positive and now at 27 weeks I'm waddling around, weaving back and forth like a lush, huffing and puffing up hills, totally unable to sit properly because of baby up in my ribs... it is AMAZING to me that some mamas carry so differently! I just can't imagine, from my POV, what it must feel like to be this far into pregnancy with such a trim figure. You look GREAT!

Probably why I don't mind being pregnant at all.  Though I think a little is just 'perspective'.  I am a tall gal! 5'10" and wear a size 10/165 lbs not pregnant. Jeans I have on in the photo same/same Size 10 and I weigh 165. I just measured around my waist right now at the biggest part and it's 37" which is probably close to a lot of you all....but I'm so tall and not a tiny girl it looks smaller on me, kwim? I also tend to carry babe right up inside until the end. If I had to have a belly hindering my ability to do stuff....I think I'd like pregnancy a whole lot less! Though I will say, this time it's been reassuring to hear the doc tell me that babe is measuring right on for dates as this is the smallest I've been this far along looking back on pics.

Being tall does have it's advantages! LOL

This is me from two pregnancies ago (2005) with my surrogate daughter. 23 weeks on left and 20 weeks on right.

belly2023w.jpg

And full term in 2007 with nearly 15 lbs of twins.

WOW! That's so cool. LOL, I sound like some sort of stoned teenager being so fascinated by this... but I can't help it! It's just crazy to me how different bodies can be when carrying babies that are the same size.

I have pituitary dwarfism which caused me to have an abnormally short torso and high uterus placement, I'm also very short in general... so when I get pregnant I carry BIG and I show FAST! Your 20 week picture is how I look at 5 weeks, and your 23 by my 6.5 to 8 weeks. Crazy!

Yes, it really amazes me too!  To give some more perspective, I had my 24w appt today. I measured 24cm from pubic bone to top of my uterus.....BUT my uterus is still just shy of my belly button! She said that it should be 3-5 cm ABOVE my belly button. So I have an exta 1-2 inches below compared to the 'average' mom, so that's where I'm smuggling the babe!

We will have to match up some full term pics of people with the same size babies and see just how different size the tummies can be! I expect mine will be 7.5-8 lbs at term as that is what mine have all been so far.

CC - That does give it some perspective! Since my torso is shortened from the dwarfism my uterus is actually already into my ribcage right now, and has been up under there since around 24 weeks. I'm 28 weeks now! Measuring right on target... just carrying it in a smaller space!

I think I used Powerpoint to add the pictures, crop them, then save as one picture.  I haven't taken that many pictures this time around.  Poor baby!
