Saw my RE today for b/w but my first appt with the OB isn't until I'm about 6 1/2 weeks.
Semi-crunchy Momma to a 4 year old girl and a baby girl born in July of 2011.
I am just 4 1/2 weeks right now, so it will be a little bit before I see the MW. She is going to call me this morning, but she joked in her email to me last night that this is my 4th, so I have plenty of time. I have no idea when I will see her for the first time. I know DH will want to have an appt ASAP. He's just like that.
Lisa (39), DH (51), SDS (29), DD (8/29/01), DD (8/22/03), DS (8/3/06), an angel named Xan , who went home on 12/18/10 and now a new bundle of joy due 05/24/13 .
The norm around here is not to see you till 12 weeks I have typically gotten in sooner because of Hyper Emesis (severe morning sickness...) Thankfully that is not seeming to be an issue this time. Last pg and this pg, I have had a subchorionic hematoma but that never seemed to get me an earlier appointment.
The ER Dr was miffed I had not seen an OB yet when I went in with severe cramping yet none of the Drs on my insurance will see you before 12 weeks. He suggested I go to my regular Dr and I know from my last pregancy he is hands off for pregancy issues.
i interviewed my midwife a wee ago but i won't see her for prenatal care until i am around 12 weeks (the week before xmas). she suggested waiting until 12 weeks since i am not very certain this baby will stick.
