UGH...  I had to go in the attic today and find a pair of maternity jeans because I couldn't even zip my regular jeans.  I am only 8 weeks!!!  How is this possible???  I think it must be that I have just been eating so much because I'm hungry all the time.  Grrrrrr.  It can't possibly be baby yet.  I'm starting out about 20 lbs. over my ideal weight, so I definitely have a lot of padding, so I'm really not "showing" I just look FAT.  sigh.

On the upside, there was plenty of room in those stretchy pants for me to eat Thanksgiving dinner!  gobble, gobble!

I wore secret belly fit pants yesterday to Thanksgiving dinner, and I have never loved them more! At least there is plenty of room in them to enjoy the next month's holiday meals!

I seriously had to start wearing maternity pants at week 6.  This is my 5th pregnancy and holy cow I am big already. 9 weeks tomorrow and completely wearing maternity clothes. I look like 4-5 months already. I too was about 20-30 lbs overweight when I got pregnant (about 165) size 12 and now I look fat....

You sound like you look cute :) I love pregnant bellies!

I was reading something the other day that for multipara women they can start to "pop" at about 9 weeks!

DH said I looked heavier, but I hadn't gained any weight. I think my shape is just changing. or maybe the pants I was wearing were unflattering.

I'm crunchy... Like a Dorito.

I've been wearing mine for a couple of weeks now too, at about 8 weeks... My regular pants really don't even work with a rubber band anymore!

My stomach is way pooched out already. I don't think my uterus ever went down to the normal size after I had my son in January. (he was born at 36 weeks and was 9 pounds). I also had polyhydramnios (excess amniotic fluid which stretched everything to capacity) I measured 42 weeks when I was 35 weeks. Anyways...long story short, I think thats why it didn't take much for my tummy to get out there this time so early. That and this is my 4th. I like over the belly maternity pants. I carry really low and I can't handle a waistband of any kind touching my belly when I am pregnant.

Phew.  I'm glad I'm not the only one.  Still, I'm beginning to feel HUGE.  I did the "rubber band" trick today with a pair of jeans and a bella band over the top, hidden by a long shirt.  It worked okay.  I just can't go full on maternity clothes yet because we're still keeping this a secret!  I'm only 9 weeks and we are thinking we'll start telling at Christmas when I'm 12 weeks.  Sigh.  One more month to go.  Not sure I'll make it in my regular clothes, though!!!  They'll all just think I'm eating way too many Christmas cookies.  Yup.

Just got my maternity pants back from my friend... I last wore them 6 years ago, and was not pleased to see them so soon in this pregnancy!  Doing the rubber band trick right now, but I'm lacking in shirts long enough to cover it up :/  Anything touching my belly makes me feel extra sick!  I'm wondering if a bella band will be ok- Didn't expect to show so soon, but I'm glad there are others in the same boat!  eyesroll.gif

Oh-my-goodness!  I was just going to write a similar post!  I already need to wear baggy clothes to hide the baby bump at work.  I can't believe how fast I popped....... is this the beginning of a belly twice as big as my first???  Hope not! lol

Serously, though.... my entire family have been commenting about how big I am already.... I'm glad I'm not the only one!!!

At least you ladies seem to have the excuse of previous pregnancies! This is my first, and by 6 weeks most of my pants were very uncomfy around the waist. Rather than fight with them, I caved and bought maternity pants. I figure I'll grow in to the belly, but at least they're not putting so much pressure on my stomach! I know it's not baby weight yet, it's just bloating, but, I'd rather be comfortable.

I just recently purchase a pair of stretchy "workout pants" from Target...and see myself going back for SEVERAL more pairs!

I don't see having too much more time in these jeans!  Ugh!  And to think...I have asked for SEVERAL pairs of jeans for Christmas....and I'm not planning on telling anyone until the New Year!

ugh! me too! I'm soo glad i kept all my old navy yoga pants, they're so comfy for pregnancy, although I didn't expect to be needing them so soon. I wonder much longer I'll be able to fit behind the steering wheel.

I pretty much live in yoga pants anyways.. since my last pregnancy.  I refuse to buy bigger jeans only to go into maternity in the next couple of weeks, so I am sucking it up till the time comes.  I never took all my baby weight off after last time.

Since we thought we were done, I gave away and consigned everything- baby clothes, maternity clothes, etc.  Oops!  I see a shopping spree in my near future.
