I woke up this morning feeling GREAT! Like everything was PERFECT! the sky was beautifuL! my dog was cute! my daughter was lovely! I loved my husband! The whole time i was laughing at myself. I had energy. I realized I hadn't felt that good for weeks. It only lasted until after lunch, but I am hopeful it's shifting.

Anyone else? Just wondering if I'm being too optimistic, since I'm only 12 weeks yesterday (with my first preg. it lasted until 14 weeks almost exactly) I hope not! I'm ready to be done with the nausea and fatigue.

I had one of those great days. The day before yesterday I played in the snow, cleaned the house, and made an awesome dinner for the family. DH was so happy to get me back! Then, out of nowhere, I threw up more than I have during the whole pregnancy. Yesterday was terrible again and I threw up three times. I am hoping today is better because I am supposed to hang out with friends.

Oh...I am 13 weeks.

Oh man, I needed this thread!  I still feel like garbage, but I'm just shy of 11 weeks.  Knowing I could be feeling better in another week or two.... this is the silver lining I need!

With DD I felt better by week 13-ish, but my morning sickness was SUPER mild with her.  Hopefully the worse morning sickness won't mean longer recovery. >.<

Yesterday was my birthday and I managed to be functional.  I did take extra zofran because I really wanted to get out of the house, and I DID get out of the house and felt almost normal for a couple hours.  Of course, as bedtime (9pm, these days) approached, I started to feel really ill and am back to barfing today, but it was great to get that break from the all-day awful sickness and it was such good timing, too!

I'm 14 weeks today, and better about 1/2 the time. I missed a lot during these holidays that I'm feeling pretty bummed about. I thought what I'd miss most was the drinking - but instead almost all our traditions fell short. I haven't been cooking and I miss it. Things were just very normal, everyday feeling. I am SO READY to feel better and get back to normal :/

I decided it's time to stop letting my cravings control me though - the nausea is still there but not as bad - and it''s time to cut back on the refined foods and carbs I've been indulging in. I ordered a pregnancy workout DVD for when it's too cold or snowy and on the rare nice days we get (like today!) I plan on walking and hiking.

I think I've fallen into a vicious cycle. I've been eating a lot of bad foods because I didn't have the energy, motivation or stomach to make fresh healthy foods. I stopped walking and exercising because I needed to sleep so much. But now,. I think I'm feeling tired and unmotivated and not well, because I haven't been eating well and exercising. I'm far enough along that it's time to suck it up and stop making excuses for not treating myself well.

haha, what I mean about that is the holidays felt too normal, instead of like the holidays - and I'm ready to get back to feeling normal and doing normal things like cooking and cleaning :)

YEs, Crystal, I know what you mean about the bad eating and lack of exercise starting to contribute to feeling bad and not exercising! I hope you feel better soon :)

Feeling slightly better on some days (or at least parts of them). Restarted my prentals but feel the nausea returning so I may need to halt them again and look into a different type.

Even played twister last night (on New yrs eve) with the kids although I did miss the festive beverages. Luckily, someone kept my glass of sparkling cranberry juice full. yummy.gif

Nausea has decreased slightly but sinus issues and heartburn seem to be creeping in.

I did have enough energy to go to a yoga class this week and hope to get more exercise since we're going to the snow tomm.

Glad to hear some of you are feeling better and for those not quite there, hope you get some relief soon!

ITA with this. My queasiness has been better now for a bit, only hitting here and there, but the exhaustion is kicking my butt. I have also been using the "it's the holidays" as an excuse for the crap I've been eating/drinking. But the holidays end (in my mind) after tomorrow, so I need to get myself back to walking/hiking and eating better. Maybe try the Pilates for pregnancy DVD I bought LAST pregnancy and never opened (although I was not as much of a slug then as I am now) I DO think I still need more sleep, but I need the other stuff too.
