Welcome to MDC, Mighty Dada. It's good to see you posting here though I wish the circumstances that brought you here had not happened. I am so sorry for your loss. Though I never chatted with Jess in real life her story has been on my mind and I think about your family a lot.

Tracy's suggestion is wonderful. I hope Mighty Mama's posts about the boys can be assembled into one document that can be read by the boys when they're older. I am certain it would mean a lot to them.

Normal is just a setting on your dryer.

I truly feel so devastated for your loss. I don't think I have ever cried so hard for someone that I never met in real life. Sometimes those we don't meet in real life are the ones we know best though. Your wife was a wonderful woman and a wonderful mama. She was taken much too soon from her family. Jessica, you, her children and the rest of her family will be in my thoughts and prayers daily. I will never forget her or her strength. Please continue to come here for support, raising two little boys without their mama is going to be a challenge, and you will get a lot of love and support here.

Might Dada I think of you and your family constantly. Jess was such a king woman. Please let me know if you family needs anything. We do travel to North Jersey in the summer time so I can bring/provide some milk at that time. I sent some dipes the other day, but I want to do more in the future so please let us know if there is anything we can do.

I think it is wonderful that you have come here to connect with the other mamas who called Jess and her sister their friend(s).
The best part is that you will be able to find the support you need at any time of the day or night and you can feel assured that any time you need the ideas and wonder what Jess might have done--you can come here and get ideas--this was a community who knew her and her sister well--and shared in the vision that they both wanted for the future of all of your children.
My heart goes out to your family--what a terrible terrible year this has been for all of you.

Welcome to MDC.

I am so sorry for the loss of your wife. She is truly an inspiration, even to those of us who only knew her online. You and your family are in my prayers every day.

we are all thinking of you and the boys. There are some things going on to help raise money that we can't discuss here, as well we are not supposed to discuss the milk donations on the board. babygrant is making a quilt that people can donate fabric squares to, and wombatclay among others are working on compiling posts for the boys. hope to talk to you soon.

Jack

This board suffered a huge loss when Amy, and then your beloved Jess, passed away. They will never, ever be forgotten here; they will always be loved and remembered with great fondness.

I'm praying for your mighty family, and thanking God that I had the privilege of knowing your mighty angel.

Every baptized Christian is, or should be, someone with an actual (disturbing) experience, ... a close encounter, with God; someone who, as a result, becomes a disturbing presence to others. - Fr. Anthony J. Gittins, A Presence That Disturbs

I did not know your wife but periodically read your family's story on caringbridge. I want to express my sympathy for your family. Your children are lucky to have a wonderful "mighty dada" to look out for them. In the tough times just remember that your wife's spirit lives on in each of the precious gifts she has left you with, your beautiful children.

MDC is here for you in your time of need. Take Care,

~Erin

I read about your wife earlier today and have been thinking of your family all day.

I am so sorry. So very grieved for you all.

My prayers are with you and will be with your children and you. You have everything they need. You are a good, strong man who can navigate them through this.
