Oh my goodness! I am so glad to see that you posted here.
Like so many others, I have been thinking about you and your family constantly, shedding tears and praying. There aren't a lot of words to describe what I feel for you and your situation. Its just too heavy. Just please, come here often and let us lift your burdens and lift you up as much as possible.
Sending SO much love your way....
A most heartfelt welcome to you Mighty Dada!

I didn't really know Mighty-Mama. I actually avoided the threads about her, because I felt like I was intruding on a strangers personal life.
And yet... When I saw this thread, saw that she had lost her fight so soon, I couldn't help but cry. To leave behind so many people that love and need her, brought back memories of my childhood. I lost my father when I was ten. I know that you have children much younger than that.
I really hoped that she would make it. I'm so sorry for your loss, Mighty-Dada.

Hello, Mighty Dada. I am a Sept 07 momma and just came looking for this thread to express my admiration for the fight Jessica put up and send a hug to you and your boys. May you find your way on this new path as the days begin to lengthen.

You don’t owe them an explanation, just a response.

Jack, I am so happy that you are here, but I am so sorry for the reason why. Your wife was a wonderful mama; of course, I don't need to tell you that. I think you can see here how many lives she touched. We are all here to help in any way we can.

Hi Jack,

I was in Jess's due date club. She was near and dear to all of us, and we have missed her, and will continue to miss her. I think about you all everyday, and have for quite some time. She was an incredibly mighty mama, and she was lucky to have her 3 boys. She was very in love with all of you, and it was obvious in her posts. We were, of course, very fortunate to have known her, and she will forever hold a place in my heart!

Please come join us in the September 2007--Its (whatever month it might be at the time).

Mighty dada, I am so very sorry for your loss. You all have been on my mind for a long time. I am planning to send at least one big shipment of milk for Gavin. I wish there was more I could do.

We are all here to support you, and grieve with you. Jess touched so many lives.

Tracy's suggestion is wonderful. I hope Mighty Mama's posts about the boys can be assembled into one document that can be read by the boys when they're older. I am certain it would mean a lot to them.

Dearest Jack-

I was in Jess' April 2005 group-Noah and my son Andrew are only days apart. Please remember that when you need support with Noah, the April '05 moms are always there for any and all Mighty Quinns.

Jessica was a delight to know, even though we didn't know each other in real life. She was so amazing, so strong. Know that her life has been an inspiration to so many.

My family sends all of our love, thoughts and prayers to you, Noah, Gavin and the rest of your family and Jess & Amy's. And know that we're always here for you.

Peace-
Ursula

To the mamas mentioning compiling posts, a member of our April group is already in the process of going through all of Jess' posts and compiling a book for Noah and Gavin, along with photos.

With candles lit and a steady flow of tears, I want to tell you how saddened I am for your loss. I'm a long time lurker who got wind of both your wife's and SIL's health struggles. I am a few hours away from where the funeral is being held, but I will try very hard to make it and support you all. You are not alone, nor alone with the memory of your wife- we all have a piece of her inside of us.

I didn't know your wife, but I wanted to express my deepest sympathies. Your family has been on my heart all day long as we approach this eve of Christmas. You, your boys, and your family are in my prayers. I can't imagine the sorrow you feel; I pray that somewhere amidst this pain you can find comfort in those you love this holiday season. If there's anything at all I can do, I hope I can help you.
