koDD will be 4 next year and we're planning on getting her a dollhouse. We've currently bought the house but are unsure what kind of furniture to get for it. I've been looking online for wooden dollhouse furniture and there seems to be such a range in styles, some are more chunky and toddler-like and some more sophisticated. Right now I'm leaning toward two different sets:

This is the one I'm in love with:

The downside is the price. Do you think this furniture would be okay for a 4 y.o., or should I stick with something more like this:

Thoughts? Better ideas?

my 3 year old has a ryan's room dollhouse and few of the sets of accessories by ryan's room besides what it came with. They are small like the ones you linked to, but she plays with them fine.

It's kind of cool that the sets you chose have so many pieces so you pretty much get a full dollhouse right off the bat, however it's been kind of fun for my dd to get a new set of accessories every once in a while and then you also won't have that sticker shock.
