OK So, they teach children the most horrendously annoying songs in school. I think it's some form of torture. Seriously. Lock up the guys at G'tmo with a pack of kids singing "A too tee tot" and they'll talk within days, hours if they're weak like me. So, what's the most horrendously tortureous song your kids know? For my DS it's a tie between "Kalump Went the Frog" and "A Too Tee Tot"

:Pagan Mom to Danny and Mal , Wife to Charles Pet Parent to kitty Paige.

Ours was (and thank gods it's over now...) not even a kids' song. It was "We Will Rock You" by Queen. Which was rockin' and funny the first 200 times, now I couldn't care less if I ever hear that song again in my lifetime.

Now we're in a phase of songs about dinosaurs. We've only just started with this one, so talk to me again in about 4-5 months...

My 6 yr old cannot stop singing "Who let the dogs out!" as loud as he can with all the extra Who Who Who grunting he can throw in. Now and then he changes dogs to whatever we were just talking about. "who let the printer ooouuuut, who, who who, who who......"

ds has been singing Frosty the Snowman nonstop for the past two weeks. I want to stick something sharp in my ears after about 45 minutes of frosty.

My 4yo likes:

Never never ever pick your nose
Up your nostril is not where your finger goes.
Don't pick yourself a winner,
'Cause boogers aren't for dinner.
Perish the thought
of being caught
With your finger up your nose!

And she will sing this very loudly in public.

7yo: "Mom,I know which man is on a quarter and which on is on a nickel. They both have ponytails, but one man has a collar and the other man is naked. The naked man was our first president."

I have no idea! He got a few of his friends singing it too. (Sorry 'bout that, mamas. ) I love Queen too, and that's why we just let him listen to it as often as he wanted to, figuring it would pass in a month or so. Man oh man were we ever wrong!

My cousins sing:

I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
everybody's nerves
everybody's nerves
I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
And this is how it goes:
A little bit louder, a little bit worse

on the louder part they shout louder, and on the worse part they hit a horrid note. Yeah, that's the most annoying.

I had to post on this one, because lately my almost four year old has been singing a song from the DVD "Potty Power."
It goes,
"Wipe your bottom, wipe your bottom, front to back, it's easy as that!"

We get some funny looks when he sings it in public.
