I'm talking about a christmas gift vanity. Does anyone have an idea where we can get a relatively inexpensive one without too many gizmos. It seems the cheaper ones are all plastic and take batteries for music, lights, etc. We just want a standard one, yet those seem to be over $100. It's almost cheaper to get an adult vanity that a kids one, yet I don' tthink she'll fit on that one.
You might troll CL. Vanities were common parts of bedroom sets in the 30s and 40s. You can often ones that need a bit of love. Very pretty wood with a mirror and often low to the ground. If DS grows up to be girlie, that is my plan.
Ooohhh, that wood one with flowers is so pretty. That is what I was thinking of, but we just can't afford that price. So...I did end up getting somethign plastic after all. It's exactly what she wants (gag) so at least dd will be happy. I guess that's what Christmas is all about. I may keep perusing CL for a good used one to fix up for when both girls are old enough to have one and are sharing a room. Something more quality. Thanks again!
