For the past several months I feel like my 6.5 yr old son is getting more and more hyper. (I don't think he has ADHD though) He is just...hyper. Bouncing off the walls. Short attention span. We homeschool. I make sure he gets outside time. He just seems so wired.
Is it typically around this age to get more hyper?
Yesterday he was playing with a styofoam block (what a mistake to have that in the house) and he started to run it on our brick wall, leaving "snow" everywhere. He was doing a bunch of other things...just this hyper energy. I later asked him about it and he says he was "just really happy."
