When DD#1 was little she used to say "I love you up the hill and to the moon and back!" all the time (misquote from Guess How Much I Love You). DD#3 has been getting into a nightly ritual of saying "Good night, sweet dreams, happy Littlefoot dreams!" referring to The Land Before Time movies.
Do your kids have any common misquotes or silly ritualistic sayings?
I sometimes will say while tucking my oldest into bed "Goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite and if they do, smack 'em with a shoe!!"
I like to wake my kids up with "Good morning, good morning, good morning, it's time to rise and shine. Good morning, good morning ,good morning, I hope you're feeling fine! It's time to get up sleepy head, it's time to get out of bed! Good morning, good morning, good morning, it's time to rise and shine!"
