I am looking for recommendations for shoes that are really easy to put on and can stand up to lots of action.  My almost four year old is really frustrated trying to get his feet into his regular ol’ velcro sneakers and water shoes.  I was thinking crocs, but I am afraid they wouldn’t be good for wild running!  Any ideas?  :)

Have you tried Vans slip ons?  We got a similar style Target brand pair for my 5 year old DS last year and they seemed pretty easy for him.  Zappos has them in a lot of different styles.  I almost bought the t-rex ones recently.

I LOVE Keen. They're sandals but they stand up to anything and are great for running. Some are slip on, some velcro, but all pretty easy for my kids to put on and get off.

If you decide to try them, do NOT order online at first. Their sizing is a little kooky so best to try them on in-store to figure out what size your kiddo is first.

Also love Tevas with the velcro and some are slip on too.
