My ds (6) came home from school complaining of a toothache... He has had a loose top front tooth- forever, probably few months! It still has not fallen out... Suddenly today he started complaining of pain and it turned black! It is too late in the day to call the dentist, I am freaking out... should I pull it out?? Is it okay to leave it in? It does not seem loose enough to pull out easily!!! Anybody has any advice or experience in this matter? thank you so much for advice!!!

Are there any after-hours dentists in your area?  What happens if you call your dentist off-hours, maybe someone on call?

Some emergency departments ( at regular hospitals) have dentists. I'd probably call and check with them if it's something urgent before heading in unless you can get ahold of a regular dentist in any way.

I know I'd be worried too, OP. Hope you get things taken care of ok!
