My son is four and I would like to get some good CDs with bedtime stories for him to listen to as he falls asleep. Stories that are relaxing and soothing, told by someone with a calm, soothing voice. We have taken many audio CDs out of the library but most of them have music or songs in the stories that are too exciting, or the stories themselves or voice of the reader are too exciting.
Any recommendations? Much appreciated, thanks! :love
One of the things my DC did (starting at about age 5) is that she would listen to the same stories over and over again - so although it may have been super exciting the first time, even a book like Harry Potter became soothing as she listened to it for the third time.
I like the idea of the PP. Our kids have listened to a Roald Dahl compilation (him reading, which is great) SOOOO many times. All the fearsome parts are no longer fearsome. It's a like a favorite uncle retelling favorite family stories by this point.
